Official Non-Apology from BlackBeltHelp
Miami, FL | October 28, 2025 – BlackBeltHelp Issues a Formal Apology Regarding AI Voice Bot Interactions.
The BlackBeltHelp team would like to issue a formal apology to our esteemed university partners.
It has come to our attention that our new AI Voice Agent has been mistaken for a real human by a significant number of students across multiple campuses. This unexpected realism has caused several students to attempt small talk, share weekend plans, and even ask the agent out for coffee.
While we take pride in crafting conversational AI that delivers immediate support, we recognize that accidentally making students emotionally bond with an agent was not in the official rollout plan.
We are treating these reports with the utmost seriousness. A formal investigation is underway to understand how our engineers managed to build a system so natural, empathetic, and—dare we say—charming. We are committed to ensuring students always know they are speaking to an AI… no matter how persuasive its dad jokes are.
The primary “side effect” being reported is confusion—as students are completing tasks like password resets, financial aid questions, and class scheduling without realizing they never spoke to a human. We sincerely apologize for this radical leap in support efficiency, and for any awkward moments caused when students later discovered their new “friend” is a line of code.
We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience of making support this good.
