BlackBeltHelp Appoints Chris Uthe as President to Lead AI Helpdesk Transformation in Higher Education

With more than 20 years in educational technology, Uthe brings deep expertise in AI-powered student engagement and higher education enterprise systems.
In his new role, Uthe will drive BlackBeltHelp’s mission to reduce administrative workload and deliver best-in-class student support experiences through its AI Helpdesk platform. He will oversee the company’s expansion as colleges and universities increasingly turn to AI to improve support, streamline operations, and enhance student success.
Proven EdTech Leadership
Uthe most recently served as Head of Product at Ocelot, leading development of its AI-backed student engagement platform. His career also includes a 13-year tenure running the Student Portal and Learning Management division at Jenzabar, and founding EdSolio, an early innovator in competency-based education.
